Terms of Service

1. Agreement

Using Fro means accepting these terms.

2. Definitions

• Platform: The Fro mobile application and website
• Customer: A person using Fro to book services
• Provider: A person offering services on Fro
• Booking: A transaction between a customer and provider
• Service: Work performed by a provider at a customer's location
• Escrow: Payment held by Fro until work is completed
• Content: Photos, videos, messages, reviews, and other user-generated material

3. Eligibility

You must be 18 or older with legal capacity to enter into a contract. You agree to provide accurate information and keep it updated.

4. Accounts

• One account per person
• @username must be unique
• You are responsible for all activity under your account
• Fro may reclaim usernames that impersonate

5. Fro's role

Fro is a marketplace and technology platform, not a service provider, employer, agent, or contractor of any Provider. Providers are independent. Fro does not supervise, direct, or control the work. Fro does not guarantee outcome, quality, or availability.

6. Provider obligations

• Accurate listings and pricing
• Hold any licence you claim
• Travel to the customer
• Honour accepted bookings
• Complete Stripe verification
• Keep bookings on-platform

7. Customer obligations

• Accurate address and access
• A safe working environment
• Be present or arrange access
• Pay through the Platform

8. Bookings and arrival verification

A booking forms when a customer confirms a time slot offered by a provider. Providers must be available within the windows they publish. A 6-digit arrival code is required for the provider to start the job, confirming they are at the right location with the right customer.

9. Payments, escrow, and fees

• Authorized when a provider accepts
• Captured when the job starts
• Held in escrow during work
• Released on confirmation or automatically 24 hours after provider marks job done
• Platform fee: 20% (added on top of provider's price)
• Card processing: 2.9% + $0.30 (added on top)
• Providers are responsible for their own taxes
• All amounts in USD

10. Cancellations, refunds, and disputes

Cancellation before capture releases the hold. Refunds are processed via the reported issue system. Fro administers disputes, not as a court but as a neutral party with access to evidence (location, timing, photos, messages, ratings).

11. Tips, packages, points, and referrals

• Tips are voluntary and go to the provider
• Packages are prepaid and expire
• Points are a licence to platform features, have no cash value, and are non-refundable
• Affiliate and sales earnings terms available on request

12. Content

You keep ownership of what you upload and grant Fro a licence to host and display it for operating and promoting the Platform. You warrant you have the rights to it.

13. Prohibited conduct

You may not:

• Circumvent the platform (take bookings off-Fro)
• Commit fraud
• Harass or discriminate
• Impersonate
• Misrepresent licences
• Scrape the platform
• Interfere with the platform

14. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fro is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

15. Disclaimer of warranties

The platform is provided "as-is" without warranties of any kind. Fro does not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

16. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Fro harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the platform or violation of these terms.

17. Suspension and termination

Fro may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, engage in prohibited conduct, or pose a risk to other users.

18. Changes to terms

Fro may update these terms. Material changes are announced in-app or via email before taking effect.

19. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Delaware, without regard to conflicts of law principles.
